Emotions are simply a predictable brain frequencies where (√3/5) of one second is the universal speed of hesitation. This scientific conjecture - testable, disprovable, repeatable - is easy to see, difficult to accept. Discovered in July 1988, the meanspeed® music hypothesis has been reviewed by Professors Epstein of MIT, Repp of Yale, Levitin of McGill, Borchers of Stanford, Clynes of Georgetown, Van Gelder of Washington, Tucker of Columbia among others. Official "peer review" has been an impossibility. As the historian of science Thomas Kuhn wrote in his seminal book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions wrote, "No part of the aim of normal science is to call forth new sorts of phenomena; indeed those that will not fit the box are often not seen at all. Nor do scientists normally aim to invent new theories, and they are often intolerant of those invented by others."

The speed in your head might be understood, it might not. On this page, you can jump in anywhere and look at the speeds of many of the greatest pieces, see the speed at which it was recorded. With information such as I give away here, just with one song. From knowing speed: you will not have to think about speed. The last thing you want to do, especially as a musician onstage , is be *counting* and worry about nuances of tempo. You want to play the song, not the speed. Thing is – unless you learn to play with relative tempo, you know your chances of making it are almost zero unless you learn to rehearse with a metronome, or have practice in so doing and know how to keep your speed smooth. The listeners, and musicians are listeners too, you will see one that each song has an individuality of tempo performance. Just by happening to look at one song on the site you – (I know I do, I love this system for making psyche tapes and tapeloops and good old mixtapes. This page, well the 1K+ pages on one site, can spark an idea of organizing your own music personal velocity, and everyone's speed is different. At the end: there is a perfect clarity. There is nothing on this page that cannot be retested – I welcome it – nor is not disprovable, which would make it unscientific.

Yeah the trademarking of meanspeed®may seem vain or stupid - but only the people who would say that are those who haven't encountered the Ph.D "you will never get around US" wall. To say professors are delusional and arrogant is to say lawyers are unduly exacting: harsh.
